Zeitgeist is a new way to interpret forum statistics. Instead of displaying data accumulated since the inception of the forum or on a monthly basis, Zeitgeist shows you what's going on right now and who's making the most influential posts. At each moment, it answers the questions what matters? and who matters?. For example, here is an overview of this very forum.

Zeitgeist also keeps a history, allowing users to post their rankings as a signature image . To get your own, append your forum member number to http://inportb.com/hotlink/zeitgeist/?p=.

Save the following code as the URL for a bookmark. Go to your profile page and open the bookmark.

How this works:

• each post after yours contributes to your ranking
• only the most recent posts count, so you may not have a ranking (yet! post and you'd be up in no time)
• if you spam, you will receive the usual spam treatment

• as usual, append the member id to http://inportb.com/hotlink/zeitgeist/?p=
• the leaderboard is at http://inportb.com/hotlink/zeitgeist/?f=<url>, i.e. http://inportb.com/hotlink/zeitgeist/?f=http://www.110mb.com/forum

Well, you generally don't have to post very much; it depends mostly on replies to your posts. Sure, there's a time cutoff, but I'm working on loosening that a bit. See, you're on your way up already. lol.
