My websites where adsense is running are http://upalc.co.cc & www.invotechengineers.com ...According to adsense data I used to get around 40-60 hits a day (not ad click). But in the last 4-5 days this no. has reached 1000 !!! I checked the clustermaps in both the site. They are not showing any increase in no. of unique visitors. Though the clustermap of upalc dot co dot cc is subscribed as upal dot 110mb dot com. But the good thing is that my earning has jumped from $0-$0.02 to $1-$1.2 !!! ....Now I want to identify the source of this regular traffic and want to work on that. But how to find out Huh Even the Google webmasters tool is of no help !!! Does 110mb has any tool with which I mat figure it out Huh

Please help me before I lose this traffic !!!

Check backlinks to your website, and check your visitors referrer. wink

Try some visitors trackers. In example:
Google Analytics http://www.google.com/analytics/
Statcounter http://www.statcounter.com/
Histats http://www.histats.com/
or any other service like this.

i couldn't get to your site at work because of the network filter that has 'proxies' as the reason for block. thought you should know in case you want more traffic.

@ Pitor GRD
I have integrated Google Analytics, but what is the output !!! It says 95.24% is direct traffic !!! shocked ...now for what reason people will suddenly type my URL and visit my site ? And the visitors are also decreasing gradually. Can you please explain this typical behavior ?

@ cogs
I dont understand what is the problem in your case. Because I tried both the sites from my friend's place and they are opening normally. No hassle at all. And I have received your message and replied back  smiley

If HTTP referer tells nothing... then try in the hard way.
Type in Google "upalc.co.cc" and try to figure out what could cause that.

Some potential is in stumbleupon.com/url/upalc.co.cc/ - maybe in some way your result was in "related sites" under some very popular result visited VERY often?... If so then you just had luck. (BUT this is my pure guessing)
There are also some other websites with your URL - check, think, analyse...

the proxy block is coming from my web filter, which is set up on a network... no worry, except it shows you may have content that organizations might block... also, on analytics, it shows your own visits (like if you work on the site)... if you look at the networks, under 'traffic', you can correlate it against the number of visits... also, the map location, and the absolute unique visitors... just look at everything on the left side

(...) also, on analytics, it shows your own visits (...)

If you have static IP - make a filter.
If not - well...

I am under DHCP. No static IP problem.

Traffic has dropped significantly. But the earning has somehow got sustained !!!

Thanx to Piotr GRD. Google Analytics has pointed out the source at last. It is one immensely popular blog in India, which I followed up in my site : Fake IPL Player. Anyone interested in cricket may also visit this.

Do you know why the traffic has increased so much?  I am running a little less than what you started, and I am still waiting to get lots more traffic.  Maybe send them my way? haha.  I am pretty sure Google Analytics should help, let me know.

@ isaan-info

Is there any chance of getting banned by google adsense if I get sudden high traffic ? I am not using any bad means for that. Posting in a blog is not bad I guess !!!

By the way, currently I am having around 500 hits/day but the earning has significantly dropped to 0.10$/day !!! That is a bad news for sure. But another good news in terms of organic SEO (Thanks to 110mb forum boost up for this). I have reached the 1st page of google in the search result of Random Surfer. Please do check at your end if the result is same for all of you !!!

If you have installed google analytics, than I would suggest you to check your traffic source, and there you will find out everything.
