Im trying to put Google apps on my Everydns account for the Google mail. I have made my Fully Qualified Domain Name, my domain.  I then changed the record type to CNAME, and then put the value that Google gave me google7e557b2a6f431.google.com. It gives me this message when I press add record, "Status: Logged in -- please use an A record instead -- the delegation records for "ll-entertainment.net" interfere with the use of a CNAME (rfc1034 section 3.6.2)". Is the value wrong? How do I fix this?

please help thanks!!

You can only declare CNAME on subdomains of your root domain. By definition, CNAME aliases the entire subdomain, so said subdomain cannot have any other records. The root domain already has delegation records that, as said, intefere with the use of a CNAME.

I doubt that Google Apps has you set a root CNAME. iirc, it's a subdomain.
