Yesterday my additional domain, socalsubbuteo.com, was working.
This morning I get a page load error whenever I use that domain, but my 110mb subdomain, socalsubbuteo . 110mb . com, is working.
I have checked in the control panel that my own domain name is still present in the settings. And I have checked with the domain registrar that it is not changed either.
Am I the only person experiencing this?
What can be done to fix it?
Thank you, in advance, for your assistance.
PS: I am on Box 15.

Are you using the 110mb DNS or do you have an A Record created ?
Could be that the DNS is down... create an A record instead on your registrar.
Edit: It does appear that eh 110mb DNS servers are down..

My extra domain has also stopped working. I went into the account settings and below the extra domain is this: ONLY APPLIES TO YOU IF YOU PAID FOR HTACCESS SUPPORT: If above extra domain was added/changed AFTER Htaccess was enabled on your account, then you'll need to submit ticket so we can make Htaccess work on the new added/changed domain. Use subject line: Upgrade New Extra Domain with Htaccess
NOTE: DON'T BOTHER REQUESTING ABOVE IF HTACCESS FUNCTIONS ALREADY WORK ON YOUR EXTRA DOMAIN. Does this mean that now we need HTACCESS for the extra domain to work?

@socalsubbuteo When did your domain working for the first time? When did you add it at 110mb CP and change the nameservers into 110mb ns?
Your domain appear ONLY on ns4.110mb.com There is no your domain at ns1/ns2/ns3.110mb.com
Try to remove and add again after few minutes your domain at 110mb CP. Don't expect instant fix, if anything will fix then after 18 - 24 hours or more.
And yes, as there are sometimes problems with 110mb nameservers recommended (by us, users, not by admins) is to use not 110mb, but external nameservers (in example your registrars default) and point domain to 110mb account with A records pointed to the IP of your 110mb subdomain. Yes, each change of nameservers will cause a propagation delay.
@sneakatron No, you don't need .htaccess for using your own domain. That note mean that if you have .htaccess upgrade and you change or add new extra domain after activating .htaccess, you have to (by sending support ticket) ask for "re-activate" .htaccess functionality on that newly added/changed domain.

Both of mine have stopped working also... Both the 110mb-url and their extra domains are in my signature. They worked earlier today (that is about 5 hours ago), I haven't checked since. Thanks for your help.

It looks like again 110mb nameservers fail for those extra domains.
praetox.com exists only on ns4.110mb.com
My domains exists only on ns2 and ns4, NOT on ns1 and ns3.
This topic needs admin attention, it looks like all (or alot) extra domains dissapear from 110mb nameservers.

Same here, but in my case the 110mb.com subdomain is out of order too.

@exer Your 110mb subdomain is working OK, but you are redirecting to your own domain automatically.

I am in the same situation. My 110mb subdomain is working, but on one of my accouts my extra domain is not working.
I consider this a serious situation.
I will try to remove it, and add it again and see if that works, but is there a more permanent fix?

BIND appears to need restarting. .. is there a more permanent fix? Use an external DNS provider.

@galatians5one :
You don't need to, but you have the option.
GoDaddy's NS are probably much more resilient than 110mb's.
Revert your domain to use GoDaddy's NS, then setup 'A' records for yourdomain.com and www.yourdomain.com pointing to the IP* of your box.
On GoDaddy, domain and www are abbreviated to @ and www, just to confuse the issue.
Dammit. PG types faster.
* Get the IP by 'pinging' your 110mb subdomain name, or use Lesley's system: http://110ss.lesley.uni.cc/. The IPs shown on your 110mb control panel are wrong.

Yeah, thanks for correcting. Can anyone suggest a good (and tried) free dns host?

Thanks, editdns will do edit: pinging my subdomain gives 195.242.99.89, meanwhile box4 is 195.242.99.82. I think I'll just use ...82.
