Please yell if you are paying attention.

Let me preface this by saying I know that I need to have patience but this is bothering me.  Yesterday at 12:28PM EST(GMT-5) I sent the following email to 110mb Support:
Quote
Hello,  a week ago I tried to have fsockopen enabled on my 110mb account.  I read the forums and the article in the knowledge base and they said that once you have more than 30 posts on the forum to submit a ticket to the Accounting/Billing Department with the subject line ENABLE fsockopen.  When I went to do this I saw there was a separate option to pick for enabling fsockopen.  Since this specifically mentioned having at least 30 posts in the forum I picked this option.  After a couple of days I logged into my account to see if fsockopen was enabled.  My Control Panel still shows that it is disabled.  I then went to check my ticket to see if there was a response.  When I went to login on the support page it provided me with my email address and a long password already filled in the box.  I assumed that this was similar to site builder where the password has to be left alone so I just clicked login.  It came back and told me invalid username/password.  I then tried typing in the password I used when I registered and it again told me invalid username/password.  I proceeded to have my password emailed to me so I could login and check my ticket.  I tried this yesterday morning and did not receive an email when I checked in the afternoon.  I then tried to have my password emailed to me again.  Again, I have received no email from 110mb with my password.  I use Microsoft Outlook 2007 for my email client and have looked through all of my SPAM folders to make sure the email didn’t get lost there.  It was not there.  In addition I added 110mb’s email address to my safe senders list when I got the registration email back in October when I signed up.

I am planning on upgrading my account further with SendMail and htaccess but now I am having qualms as to whether these services will actually be upgraded.  Is it possible for you to enable fsockopen on my account and provide me with the password I should use to login to the Support Center.  Thank you.

My username on 110mb is troop26parkville and I am on Box 15.  My forum name is rvtraveller.

Thanks again for your help with this.
I received the standard autoreply that said I would get a response within 1-15 hours, but if the email wasn't related to abuse, billing, or login issues I would not receive a response as I should ask it here at the forums.  I was under the impression that this fell under but the billing and login issues so I decided to wait the 1-15 hours.  It has not been over 25 hours with no response.

What am I left to conclude:  either my email did not deal with abuse, billing, or login and I should have posted it in the forum (which I am doing now) or 110mb does not answer emails.

I am not really expecting a response from anyone apart from maybe and "informed system admin" but I wanted to make sure I covered all of my bases regarding support here.

Thanks.

When you requested Fsockopen did you submit a support ticket?  If so you should have used the "Enable Fsockopen (MUST have 30+ posts on forum for this)" Department.

Now, if you've done that it will take time as Gen Veg has stated.  The 110mb admins will go through your posts to make sure that you have 30+ useful posts.  That takes time.  There are others on the boards here who have been waiting a couple of weeks for their requests.  If you need fsockopen faster then you should just pay for it.

I realize I just have to have patience.  Just to clarify, since I cannot log in to the support center that would classify as a "log in" issue which would be handled by email.  Correct?

Have you registered on the support site?  It is a separate log in from your site and the forums.

yup, I registered with my email address.  And then when it kept giving me invalid username/password so I tried to reregister with my email address.  It said that this email address was already registered, did you forget your password.  I click lost password and it says enter your email address and we will mail your password to you.  I put in my email address (this is before I contacted 110mb support via email) and click submit.  It says password emailed.  24 hours later, still no email with my password.  I try again, 24 hours after that still no email with my password.  I email tech support, no reply from them after 28 hours.

At first I thought that my email client (Microsoft Outlook) was moving my emails to the spam folder.  Checked the spam folder, not there.  Then I think, ok maybe my ISP (Comcast) blacklisted 110mb's email.  That doesn't work because I got the registration email and the automatic response when I emailed them.

Does 110mb reply to emails from an account other than their gmail one?

Thanks.

Did you get an email right after you submitted the ticket? The password for 110mb support should be in the autoreply message you got when you submitted the ticket.

That message comes from 110mb.server[ @ ]gmail.com

But it seems like support is being very slow these days. I have a ticket open for 3 weeks and 3 days. Still nothing. Somehow I doubt submitting another ticket will help.

Hmm, no autoreply from when I submitted the ticket.  Now I am wondering if they got my ticket in the first place...

If you feel they did not either re-open your ticket or post a new one.

Man I'm getting sick of this, I am also waiting for MySQL and fsockopen. I sent the ticket more than 2 weeks ago! It was sent 24th November.

I logged in, no response, I emailed them, no response, and I also posted on the forum about this and NOBODY from the official administration or support has ever answered me or told me that it was being processed. I wonder if they have ever read my emails / tickets....

It's been 2 weeks and 4 days ago and I would like a reply. I am patient but my patience is ending  embarassed

You posted on a holiday fill. It takes generally longer over holidays.

It is free so I can kind of understand.  And I understand priority given to those who pay.  This was more just an opportunity for me to vent and put my name out there with everyone else.
