Hi,

I have been trying to upload certain files that were created in office 2007. The files with a .docx extension all upload via ftp fine. However when i try to upload a .xlsx file, it is rejected. The only explanation I have is that it is being blocked. Is it possible for the admins to allow the upload of .xlsx files?

Thanks,

Ricky

In any case, if you're looking to share your data, xls is probably supported by more viewers than xlsx.

Indeed, xls is more used then xlsx BUT some features in the latest Excel aren't supported in the older versions Wink.

However, we don't add more extensions to the free plan as it's already a huge list and the server has to check every upload if it's on the allowed list (huge resource hog).

If you really want to upload .xlsx you should either get $19 on upgrades (gives you unlimited filetypes + 100mb upload for free) OR you host them on a file host.
