Hi
I know a few of you on here use bidvertiser and I thought it only fair to tell you how i've just been treated by bidvertiser!

I'm sooo appaled by it all! Basically, I've been a member of them for many months now and have been displaying their ads on my website ever since. I regularly check my account and for months now, I have not earned more than 25 cents! Thinking there was a problem, I emailed them this weekend and today they emailed me back to say that my account has been terminated! That's it - nothing else, no hint on my accounts section of their website at all, no idea why it's been cancelled except apparently there were "invalid" clicks.

In fact they're more than happy to still be displaying their ads on my site - they were just never gonna pay me for it and never even told me! Not until I contacted them.

I'm sorry if some of you have been okay with bidvertiser, but cancelling my account is one thing, NOT TELLING ME they had done and still using my adspace is just plain dispicable of them. So anyone who had bidvertiser on their site - beware!

Oh wow that's cold. Any idea how long this has been like that? Sounds like they got you good and had no intention of letting you know you were being ripped. I'm sure they were still making money on the clicks though Cheesy

thats why they didnt contact you, they were still making money from your site, they didnt want to lose a resource so they didnt tell you, but they should have at least told you that you had some invalid clicks

I don't know they're ok I've gotten paid by them. But I don't like to use them because they pay so little per a click. A lot of people get desperate and try to click on their own ads, make sure you don't do that - even if you're just testing whether it works.

But yeah Bidvertiser is a shady company, they add links into all the ad code - so if you're not paying attention you may end up giving them a backlink with the tags 'make money online'. They used to be rank #1 because of that, but Google gave them the boot - and they got penalized for it..not sure if they're still ranking or not , but last I checked they're not ranking for that term.

I would recommend adsense, but it's pretty crappy too. Try adbrite (see sig) or start selling ads directly if you can.

Whenever you are talking about an advertising company it is just going to have this crappy thing or that. Adsense is probably the best of the lot (cough cough cough) but still...

If you are heavy enough, start hosting ads directly from others. You are sure to find a lot of interested people in related niche.

they never paid you when you reached the minimum or they never paid you at all?

If you didn't reach the minimum obviously they're not going to pay you.

I was charged 20$ in one month and other 20$ for second month = 40$ for no reason. I have recieved offer through Bidvertiser claiming 20$ ad credit. I signed up with as advertiser and bidvertiser asked me for my credit card details just for verification. I made my ad and I never recieved any hits from bidvertiser. Bidvertiser is a bloody f****r.

lol sounds like your own fault - the $25 credit requires you to verify yourself with your credit card, otherwise anyone could sign up over and over again with the $25 promotion and get infinite free advertising. Also they only give you the 25 credit after you verify and possibly place an ad.

Ive found the main problem with getting the "invalid clicks" problem with bidvertiser is either when you have to many visitors on your site at once and more than one press the same like at about the same time
OR
The more commen one when you have a buisness a competitor might over click to screw you over. Ive even seen companys offering services like this to automaticaly spam any ad links added.

I don't like them for the fact that they don't display remotely relevant ads... Nor do they allow you to change the category of ads your site displays.

I had them on my tech site, and they like showed some home ads... About shoes and purses. WTF? lol.

Because advertisers so abused irrelevant keywords. Furthermore, advertisers want their ads which appear all pages and sites. Bidvertiser couldn't work better than Google Adsense.
