Saw that one those last weeks or so, seems to be good : Driveway ( http://www.driveway.com/) Upload : expires 90 days after last access Download : unlimited Max size: 500MB Registration not needed but offers some extra file managing niceties Speed: Tested only once, seemed okayish (30-50 Kb/s ?) Supports : All legal, non-adult files Users can upload multiple files, upto a maximum limit of 500 MB per file.
Depending on the usage, you have the option to ‘Send Files for Read’ or ’Send Files for Edit’. The first allows the file to only be downloaded and read, while the second lets you edit the file.
As a file owner, if you had entered your e-mail id while uploading the files, then you would receive confirmation e-mail with links to read or edit file (depending on the option selected during upload) and file delete. If not, a confirmation page would display the link to read or edit file. The said file cannot be deleted.
To share files, the e-mails of both the file owner and the recipient'(s) are required. The recipient will receive an e-mail containing file read/edit links to the shared files.
Note: Currently, ’Send Files for Edit’ option is available only for .doc, .xls and .ppt office files. |

URL UPLOAD AND PERSONAL FOLDERS ALSO SUPPORTED Premium accounts give 1000mb max file size and unlimited bandwidth and storage.......files are deleted after 60 days...... Registered accounts give 500mb max fiilesize and 1000mb/hour bandwith and unlimted storage.....files are deleted after 30 days...... Non-Registered accounts have 100mb max filesize and file deleted after 20 days.....but no remote upload |

File upload limit is the maximum size the file can be that you want to upload. If the file size/upload limit is say 100mb then you can upload a 100mb file but not a 101mb file. Different sites choose to delete your files if they have not been downloaded for a while, and sometimes they just delete it anyways. 99% of these hosts WILL look for pirated/copyrighted crap that you try to host illegally. |

I found an excellent file storage site... Huge amounts of space and no limits on your file types or sizes.. I uploaded a 700 Mb avi to check! Keep them private or share/hotlink with others.... I have used divshare.com more than half a year now and they are rough. I use 8 gb for free - some are just old games and trash. The only step away from super is, that it's not direct link.
