... well if you think of it people have been trampled to death by them... fell off of a horse and the horse fell on top of them etc...
any how i personally like them

i know and have ridden them 2/3 styles (3rd being bareback... never have done it and prob never will)
i dont do it any more but not due to bad issues but cost

want to know how much it is to own a horse O.o theirs the cost in buying one then feeding it boarding it and then finding a god damn place with out taking it 10 hourse from where you live to rid it with out tearing apart your arms and legs to pay O.o oh and vet bills for horses would also kill you

we actually owned one... not cheap we had to sell him mostly due to that (after many years i think we were the first owners after birth...) and no time to ride him and barely even went to see him... after that we went to riding places... but the prices for such hobbies is far too much to currently go...
but back onto the topic of some one being afraid of them... chances are people who gamble on horse racing some are afraid of them you know why? tell me how many horses do you see in the big cities? Toronto is weird... police prefer horses (or bikes or walking) during nice summer days rather then driving

just a select few get the priviage >.> but not uncommon to see a pair of police horses in downtown toronto...
so chances are if she never got close to a horse what do you expect? seeing one on TV or in a live race 500 feet-meters away is completely different then being upclose to one

hence this reaction... or something bad has happened in her life because of a horse but rewatch the video is it fear of being harmed or fear because of first time and size of the animal? i think its the second one as she had her eyes mostly to the cam and she also was nicly and calmly petting it... it was the sound that scared her the most
Ahah I hate horses too (Thrown off one in 6th grade, sprained ankle).
... why didnt you sue? unless you signed (or your parents) a paper stating not liable >.< but a sprained ankle is the reason to hate them? seriously... hate the place you went to as obviously the horses were trained by monkeys (very very very poorly trained monkeys)... but if you went to the cheapest place... well i guess you had that coming *esp if its the school you went with... they will find the cheapest place to get the most to go...*
besides theirs risk for injury for anything you do

even sitting infront of you computer... besides a spraind ankle hurts but not as bad as broken or shattered

so you were kinda lucky...
but since you were young i guess such fears from youth can be hard to over come
