I am creating an interactive online map that displays a region of the state by county. I am planning on using an image map to make each county "clickable" in order to open a unique set of documents under each county. There is a total of 26 counties in this image map which means 26 links.

My question is should I use client side (HTML) or server side (CGI) image mapping for this? Is 26 links too much for a client side image map to handle? First time I've tried to do something like this and I'd prefer client side mapping as I'm no CGI wiz but I could hack my way through writing a script if I have to. I just don't know how the performance would turn out if I stick with HTML to do it. huh

Any advice on this would be appreciated.

Thanks
