After weeks of waiting, since it first came out, Google FINALLY gave me a Google Wave account, just an hour or so ago.
Has anyone here gotten one?

Oh God, it's so amazing. It's actually scary, I've seen active collaboration like Etherpad, but nothing like this. I will ask about if there is an NDA, so I can release screenshots and such to you guys. Here is a screenshot of it:  I made a typo on my username, so now I'm stuck with eriktheranadom instead of eriktherandom. |

I signed up the very day the video came out, and that was back in June from what I remember, I registered under my company "E.G. Interactive", and that's pretty much it.
From what we were told, it would be publicly released for a beta on September 30th, but I'm not entirely sure if this is true.

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure the way they did it. I'm not sure if it was random selection, alphabetical, I have no idea.
I thought that I was probably one among millions who got an account last night (they opened it up around 1 AM last night, EST), but it seems that not many got accounts. I'm still asking myself, why me out of all other people.
I really think it was just random.
Either way, it's incredibly slow now, buggy, but it's alright other than that.
