(...) Are these name servers still causing trouble? (...)
Yes, for months. BUT. I can see that currently you are using ns3.dnsireland.com and ns4.dnsireland.com as the nameservers for your domain. And as long as you have a control over A/CNAME etc. records in there, on that nameservers you can keep it as is. Only this A record in there try to change if you can: stonestile.ie. 14400 IN A 86.47.154.195into stonestile.ie. 14400 IN A 70.38.56.186(where 70.38.56.186 is the IP of your account on box16)The existing CNAME leave as is: www.stonestile.ie. 14400 IN CNAME stonestile.ie.If you successfully do that you should see the effect in 4+ hours (but don't be mad if in 24-48).

DNS: TXT and CNAME (FTP & IMAP) records
Hi, sorry to bug you by I really can't decide what to do with these dns records:
(the domains were bought at simplynames.com)
TXT - all I found is "originally for arbitrary human-readable text in a DNS record. Since the early 1990s, however, this record more often carries machine-readable data,".. It makes no sense to me - should I leave it as is or delete it?
CNAME (ftp imap) - while I have understood all your guides now (thanks for all the notes) and I know to add 2 x A or 1 A & 1 CNAME, I don't know if I should delete the records for ftp and imap cname records? I.e. will they stop working anyway, should i keep them for future use? I assume I can't use their ftp, but their Imap?
Many many thanks!

Hello, I purchased a .info domain just over a month ago from a registrar and put in a wriiten request for my dn to point to 110mb.com. I went into their panel control to manually enter dn1 & dn2 followed by the server ID for 110mb.com after 2 goes and 48 hrs later I tried dig as you recommended which only came up with my domain name @ A with nothing else to confirm an answer to my efforts. At this point Im at a loss as to why my request is being denied. Can you please help me fins an answer to this problem. Thanx

@amilineni: Your extra domain needs to be added in the 110mb Control Panel. Specifically, once you log in scroll all the way down and pick the second to last box on the left hand column. It should be "Account Profile". In there is where you need to add your extra domain.

@icmdb
No. You can only - IF you're using external nameservers, not 110mb nameservers - create that subdomain and point it to another 110mb account (you can have up to 5 for free, more if you'll upgrade them).

Yes I have an external domain. I can create there subdomains, but for that I must to have IP adress of 110mb hosting server. And then, here to configure (to attach) this domain to external subdomain.

You need to: - in 110mb CP add your subdomain as an extra domain (under account profile submenu); - at your DNS service create proper A record.
IP you can get by doing a ping of your 110mb.com subdomain, or check here: http://www.110mb.com/check_your_site.php (it works correctly for 110mb subdomain only) or by checking the IP of the server/box you're on in here: http://110ss.lesley.uni.cc/
IP of icmdb.110mb.com - 70.38.113.157 IP of any new account that you'll create now - the same. This IP you need to use for your A records.

no, you dont need to pay for htaccess. Not unless you want support for some htaccess features. If you've changed your nameservers, then allow 72 hours for the changes to propogate, and then it should work fine

All three of the nameservers that handle 'extra domains' were down for ~2 hours.
Try your domain again.
Hi Lesley... the site ( http://110ss.lesley.uni.cc/) is better with black background like you change 2 days ago regards
