Drivers should play and pass Initial D drifting, and DDR

Ok here my theory...

DDR:
- foot Eye coordination
- Reaction time increases
- having fun
- should decrease accidents by doing the above

Initial D (arcade version)/various other racing games
- Hand eye foot coordination
- Reaction time for all 3 increased
- Having even more fun


Rules:
- Must get a B in at least medium hardness (DDR)
- Must be under a certain amount of time with no hitting the guardrails

If they are able to do both then they get to drive behind the wheel (for the license of course)
If some how unable to do the DDR challenge a substitute will be in order (maybe a computer version of it...)

There is another game were you wave your hands in such a manner similar to DDR i would use that too to increase hand eye coordination (as your waving not shooting)

So what do you think? it all should make sense in a way

just an extension to the computer tests you have to pass for the License, Decent idea, though remember all these idiots pass the written test on road laws, then seem to forget them once they have their license full

Burnout 2 is a better choice... But rofl.

I've always played racing games as a kid (starting with lego racers woot), and always been a natural at driving.

Oh and California Speed would be another good one.

Eh I disagree and I'm glad you're not in charge hehe.. I play flashflashrevolution.com ; it's ddr for the keyboard (like what you noted in the first post), and I have 1 DDR game for my playstation and I suck at it. I'm pretty darn good at ffr though; I can play pretty much any song in the entire game and pass.

I think that Froza motorsport would be a better more realist choose, or Midnight club 2, NFS.

I'm pretty darn good at ffr though; I can play pretty much any song in the entire game and pass.

lol but do you drive? in any case i would stick with the ddr game as if your hand foot coordination is off then your going to be slow behind the wheel in reaction time... why do you think all the murders which claim they shoot people in games usually only use one bullet to kill? but as mentioned in other post other car games could be used but the problem with some is that burn out 2 is really old... also forza 1 or 2 you would need to get one with 3 petals a gear shifter and a steering wheel... but still good choices as i have played both games (till both xboxes screwed up )

Both Forza and GT has the optional simulator packet with its own cockpit.

tried both on difficult FUN but we failed on sakura

were plaining to go back on Monday and use the DDR the whole day hopefully we will master sakura
