I have nearly 5000 gifs that I have FTP'd into my new site.  Now I want to configure the page to call them up, but File Manager will not open.  After about 2 minutes I get an error message as if the site is not responding.

Is there a limit to the number of files/images that 110mb can handle?  This is very frustrating.  I have tried over several days.  The storage space these take is less than 1G, so space should not be an issue.

Should I look for another provder that can handle this?  Any suggestions?

Does "image hosting not allowed" mean you cannot have GIF's that are displayed in your web page on the site?  How else would you do it then?

5000 GIFs? That's quite alot. Automated scripts may mistake you for image hosting and delete your account.

You're better off uploading those images somewhere else (Photobucket or ImageShack) and then hotlinking them to your site.
It's clearly stated in the TOS that 110mb isn't for file hosting but for web content hosting -- images are allowed, but not too many.
Btw, wrong forum. This belongs in the Technical Question & Website Design forum.
