on the thread http://www.110mb.com/forum/file-type-not-allowed-post-your-needed-extensions-here-t2503.0.htmlyou constantly have the following: We can't provide these extensions to free members because few bad dudes will treat 110mb as a file host (against our TOS.) Don't you mean a few bad dudes thats just pure bad grammar, besides this sounds childish and unprofessional! Perhaps the following would be better.............. We can't provide these extensions to free members due to possible file hosting abuse of 110mb services. File hosting is not allowed! (against our TOS.)

I think this makes 110mb sound more like real people. They are just telling it like it is, not trying to be all high and mighty but just talk to us as if we were having a conversation with them.

maybe, but they should still check their grammar, even if they want to keep the little mummy, the bad man is trying to use us as a file host.....
With bad grammar they look small and unprofessional, which people might link to unreliable. If they're just looking and assessing the look of 110mb amongst others before even trying.
Bigger people that may pay for hosting would be turned away before even trying the services, they want the look of professionalism and reliability.
110mb is A GOOD SERVICE, and they need to pay attention to the little details to not let a bad image ruin it, especially when it's just as easy to fix as a quick edit....

The wording used it fine. Obviously 110mb is winning popularity contests, so the "real" person image persona is working. And complaint is noted. Especially since it doesn't sound "childish" and not everybody speaks English here perfectly. On the internet, you have to get used to that. If a person truly cared about the image of 110mb, they would send a message in private to a admin, or staff member. Not post a topic only enlighting the issue to the entire site community. Think about it.

Whether they are talking like real people or not, in any kind of business scenario bad grammar is something to be avoided. Use slang yes, use real words such as hey, but saying things like because few bad dudes that actually has the opposite meaning, it means very few to none..... You can disregard whatever you like d3xter, bad grammar is still bad grammar, that doesn't change..... I checked one admin (andre) and on his profile it said all pm's will be ignored unless they are invited to pm, I don't care to waste my time poking through every admin, especially when they themselves say to post issues on the forum......

@PrimeFalcon Not meaning to offend you. But some people don't speak the best English. And "company image" is a opinion, not fact by one person. So your comments are only opinion.
Moved to Features section. Since this is suggestion for modifications to 110mb, not General Discussion topic.

Yeah, i corrected a small mistake in the footer where a new sentence was being started with a connective, which sounds unprofessional however Diemux was happy to correct it.

meh, they dont get people by little mistakes but all of us saying its a great host anyways... the main page and every thing can be as sloppy as it wants (as long as you can log in) but if the inside is excellent and never or rarely lets you down there should be no real reason to not join because of a sloppy front page... thats basing a book by its cover did that once and big mistake... BTW i like the new look on the main login page (after logging in)

... and now that it's here, it needs a new title I think the same goes for the notice at the bottom of this page. It reads interestingly, eh? But I think it works... while maintaining a modicum of humor.

Um. Interestingly enough, better, more formal use of English is not a feature you might like added on 110mb. A feature might be a spellchecker, or...I can't think as fast as I type. Goes to show.
However, I am feeling the insatiable need to say something that will probably end up being a bad move on my part:
...110mb is a company. Yes, it's a great, awesome, wonderful company, but it is still a company, and it should probably make a better effort to appeal to all audiences as a businesslike company. I find it harder to trust a website offering free hosting for my site if they say 'it's the most awessone fre hosting site the the WORLDF join up now you won't regret it!!!!' Yes, I know that's a gross exaggeration, but don't you agree with what I'm saying here?
