Today I made a couple of new modifications for SMF 2.0 and SMF 1.1.x

In the SMF Admin CP you see a news section which uses the function fetch_web_data(); which uses fsockopen(); to get the data, but on 110MB not everyone has that feature enabled. So I made a modification that will modify the fetch_web_data(); function to use cURL instead Smiley

Can't you call it News Without Fsockopen or soemthing? Newbs will look at that title and move on Duh

WOW!! This is great. Maybe by default the 110mb 1click installer can install this mod as well if the option is ticked...That way all the new accounts can have better forums
