Hi, I'd like to have a few small (< 2 MB each) video files (AVI and 3G2 format) as a part of my website.  When I upload (using the File Manager) a zip file containing several movies and a text file and unzip it, the text file appears in the directory but the movie files do not.  The zip file is 3.78 MB.  Are videos not allowed?  It seems the video files are simply being discarded during the unzipping process...
Thanks!

Video file extensions are blocked to prevent people from using 110mb as a file host. If you buy $19+ of one time only fee upgrades then you can use any file extension, but that doesn't mean you can use 110mb as a file host. You should just find a free file host and link to them or embed them in your website.

Even with unlimited file extensions, if you use the account for hosting videos and use the system for file storage, your account is suspended. Since 110mb is for web hosting, not file hosting. Content is preferred over file storage.

But this is just as Myles stated. Wink

http://boxstr.com/?detectqt=false&

It is recommended by 110mb.

Just what you need, heh :p.

I recommend http://www.divshare.com/ where they'll take your video file and also convert it into an FLV file and give you the code to embed it into your own pages for fast streaming... The FLV file doesn't count against your allowed space so it's like getting 10 gigs of free space instead of 5 gigs....

5 gigs of space
50 gigs of bandwidth per month
200 meg max file size
file on line until you remove it
All file types accepted
fast streaming of videos and mp3s
And best of all, it's free
