I've just changed my password and then tried to enter the website builder admin but I get an error:
Password (or login) is incorrect!

Then I changed the password back but I get the same error again.
What can I do now?? I have used it several times to edit my page and now I don't have any access.
Thank you.

Just to add, I haven't allowed the browser to remember my password. I even deleted the private data from the browser, just in case.
I also used the back button and tried again but it just doesn't let me in and I just waste my time with this...

I have the same problem, and Ive tried all the advice Ive found.

1) I can log into my control panel with no problems.
2) I can log into FTP with no problems.

When I click on the "Site Builder Admin Panel" link within my control panel, I get the admin panel login page with the default username/password filled in.

I click on the login button (without changing any of the login details) and bingo, "Password (or login) is incorrect!"

Ive asked for help, but noone seems to listen

What exactly do you want us to do? Try changing browser. If that doesn't work use a free SQLite CMS.

I just had the same problem. I closed that tab and went back to my account page and at the top, click on the Step 2 Site Builder Admin Panel. It will take you to the login page and automatically input your login name and password. You should be able to log in that way. Let me know if that works for you.

Look peoples. Here goes, Try this:

username: sparklingdiamonds
password: trio307

Have fun. You can log into the "control panel" but not the "admin panel". I dont care about the site anyway.

This is a bug. And I, and many others have complained. I guess 110mb's view is 'fudge you'.

Have fun

Try reinstalling. I would myself, but I'm not sure if you want me to.

Thanks Myles Grey

Yea, I know reinstall is an option and I know FTP-ing site content is an option.

Point being. The comunity groups I work for dont care for these options. Reality is, they just want a "nice looking" site that can be updated by a simple means.

Ive created sites that do require FTP updates, or even C# coding or PHP. Ive even coded sites using Delphi.

I guess, there is no answer. The problem is this.

1) The system failed
2) The service doesn't fix it
3) The solution is to start again
4) There is no guarantee it wont happen again.

Which means, 110mb isn't a viable option

No, it means the site builder isn't a viable option. 110mb isn't the site builder. It's some new feature they added with Panel v2. When they created it, I thought it would be great, everyone always complained about how the WYSIWYG didn't work properly (It wasn't suppose to, it was built to be simple, not powerful), and I thought this would fix it. Actually it made it far worse. Everyone hates it, yet even when told not to use it still use it. Plenty of people use it without ever having problems. However, even if it does work, I recommend you use a free SQLite CMS.

This was probably caused by something you did though, remember that.

What the f. You have the be kidding. Talk about blame the user. So you:

1) acknowledge there is an issue
2) But somehow many people have the same issue

And, Im just waiting for a "ticking time bomb" to see if a series of clicks sets the bomb off.

I agree with you on one issue. If the "site builder" desent work, then get rid of it. OR FIX IT.

Pick one or the other 110mb

Seriously talk about not taking the blame. I have completely destroyed an installation of SMF (My own, not someone else's), I take full blame. If the site builder crashed on me I'd say 'what did I do?'.

110mb didn't make the site builder, they bought it, sort of. Anyway, I think I heard Diemux say they were trying to contact the company to get it fixed. I don't agree they should get rid of it, although sometimes it sounds like a good idea, it isn't. A lot of people get good stuff from that site builder y'know. If it doesn't work for you, don't use it.
