He's pretty cute... adorable, actually!  Did you get his number?

Thanks for sharing this, it really cheered me up.  And how you got Catherine Hepburn to shoot your video I'll never know.

Would've been kinda kewl to keep him as a pet... especially in October.  Actually, now I kinda want to look into getting a bat as a pet.

Eh, there are ways of getting around statutory legislation in the U.S. when you're a state citizen under the common law.  The only real problem would be getting him not to fly away and training him to perch on my shoulder.  Maybe sew a little chain on my epaulet for him to cling to - it'd be so cute.

And fortunately black vinyl is pretty easy to wipe off effectively.

Oh, and Warlock - you have pretty good taste in games!  I saw your YouTube submissions list.   smiley

Hmm, I don't think keeping one as a pet would be a good idea. Besides legal implications, it seems that bats suffer when kept as pets and rarely live more than one year, where as in the wild, they can reach 25 years. You could support them, however, by making them a bat box: http://ezinearticles.com/?Bats-as-Pets?&id=547827

Thanks. Right now, I've returned to slightly older games, but really good, like Red Alert 2 or Rome: Total War.

Ooh, that would definitely be a clinching reason not to.  I'm glad you told me!

Yeah, other than that it'd be perfect.  I'm up at nights anyway, and I'm out all the time and would just... take him with me.

Also a good idea.  Except I'd need to get a bat for the box, and a patch of land to put the box on... I'm on the streets.  Which could mean I'm out all the time enough that it wouldn't feel kept in a cage, but who wants to chance reducing its lifespan by about 24 years just to check that hypothesis?

They're so cute, though.

Not too into the RTS genre.  Oh, but before Civ ][ came out I would play the thing for hours... putting the Settlers on the Transport units and building Railroads across every ocean square just because I could.  No in-game effect, other than being good for cities that had them in their radius, but the ability to cover every single tile in the world with this continuous grid of railroads was neat.

Then I discovered sex, I guess.  But it's not like they're mutually-exclusive activities or anything, provided you have tolerant partners.

Love the Civ series - you may want to check out Loom and Maniac Mansion if you're into retro gaming... and Little Big Planet if you've got a PS3.  Check out the difference engine someone built inside the game world using the physics engine.

Actually into addictive little Flash games, too.  Playing 3rd World Farmer in another tab right now, Pandemic's fun, and you should probably check out the Grow series if you haven't heard of it yet.  And Jenova Chen's fl0w is actually going from Flash game to PS release - neat concept.  Awesome timewasting for everyone!
