This thread was before the TOS was updated. Its againts the TOS to use other php File Manager.Hosting your own PHP file manager. Using your own file manager (to upload, delete, etc... files) puts a security risk on the network. Hence not allowed. Locked.1: Simply download: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=150048
2: Edit the config file
3: Upload to your site
Heres the tricky part: (Optional but stops the errors) When you first run it there will be quite a few error messages. The address bar will say something like:
/www/110mb.com/m/o/p/_/_/_/_/_/mop/htdocs/<manager's directory>
Copy that, modifiy it like so:
/www/110mb.com/m/o/p/_/_/_/_/_/mop/htdocs
And edit your config file's $homedir variable to be that.
This is a very nice editor. Screenshot:
It runs very different from how one would expect it to. Rather than clicking alot, it runs much like ones normal computer; double click files to open them, or single click to select for chmoding, etc.
(Note: This took me awhile to figure out: Clicking file names downloads them. Clicking the icons selects / opens them)
Features: • Download entire folders on your site as .zip files • Uploading • .Zips can ebe extracted • File Editor that doesn't mess up your files • Chmoding

It might be worth a try, but I still think it's easier to edit files in a text editor and FTP them

Yes, that is very true.
But, with only 50 ftp slots (If its still that way...) it can be very hard to get a connection in.

Is it seriously on 50 slots? I have never had trouble getting in except for when it was down for the entire server

I do get the message at times saying all 50 slots are in use! Thats what it must be only 50!! That is one thing I also hope that admin will look into make more FTP slots available; as I notest on the forum 110mb.com is transferring 13000 member accounts to different servers. I actually wondering with this amount of members how we get any connection into FTP slots! Maybe ones the system is transfered the time comes to allocatee more FTP slots!

Probabaly 50 per server.
But.
Considering if all the servers are in the same location, if there were more ftp slots, they would be slower...

because i have same problem with the ftp limit (50) i was very interested, but sorry, nothing worked, every action i tested / delete / edit / chmod / was not executed ?!? all this for looking like WINDOWS XP ? but the LAYERED PANEL FILEMANAGER is working, with UNZIP, (edit) i think better work at HOME / easy PHP / when tested: upload ZIP. UNZIP .
