how to use excel database with php?

i want to use excel databases rather than mysql..

is it possible?

i googled but no use..

i dont need any excel->mysql converters etc..

any php classes that let me access "excel" databases..

There's no such thing as an Excel database. Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet editor, not a database manager.

If you want a library to handle Excel spreadsheets, simply go to http://www.phpclasses.org/ and search for "excel."

Alternatively, use sqlite which is available to you on 110mb.
