I have purchased a domain through 1&1 and have been hosting it at 110mb and fairly actively trying to get it indexed with a few links. Because the site get be accessed by http://mesthersherman.110mb.com and from my domain http://mesthersherman.com would this somehow mess up google, or am I simply not doing enough to get it indexed with google.

Does this question even make sense...Im not very good with this kind of thing

How long's it been since you launched your website? It could be months before Google takes notice of a new site.

my suggestion is to wait for google to find it, if you submit it at google webmasters it would give you a slightly lower pagerank because it may not have any other links to it

Don't worry about it, I say. Just let it be, and perhaps socialize a bit to get your link out there...

Ive just made a 110mb site using a .com domain I purchased recently and it took about a week to get indexed. I would suggest you try to get more links to your site out there by submitting your site to directories, making sure a link to your site is in your signature on forums or even posting comments on popular blogs, some of them even have a field for your website when you leave a comment so your name links to your site. It can definitely b a pain if you are having trouble getting indexed by google hope you get indexed soon.

lol btw if your looking 4 some free directories to submit to you can check out my site http://freedirectorydatabase.com , its basically a list of free directories for ppl to submit to.

Hello,

Sign up for Google Analytics, add the meta tag for your site validation, and you will get visitors stats AND your site indexed by Google

This is what I've done with my site:

http://storiesofmaria.110mb.com

Later you can type in Google search this site: nameofmysite.110mb.com

need to type SITE:
before the name of your site and you will see your pages!

Try using a few link lists to help build your site up. most will require you add a link to them as well but its not to hard setting up a link page then termanating the exchange when your listed.

doing it this way you can usualy get listed on google in abou a week thought it wont help your ranking when you remove the links.
