ok, i heard about IIS and PWS allowing you to test .asp pages, i only have a small ammount of time to be connected to the internet so i can't waste it uploading and re-uploading my entire site over and over.
I read that PWS is blocked on windows XP, and you have to pay for IIS.
What are my alternatives?

Why not Apache? It's only one of the most popular opensource web servers ever, and it works with ASP. (topic moved)

Will apache work on 110mb.com? I Mean .ASP
like the file that contains:
<% @language = "VBScript" %> <% option explicate %> <% CALL Response.Write( "<h1> IT WORKS!!! </h1>" ) %> <% ' Test.ASP %>

110mb is run on Apache, however, I don't think that they're willing to install ASP extensions on the servers as they are just not worth it. There are plenty of other free hosts that run IIS or similar that will allow you to run asp.

lol dude, if you post your questions here you'd get responses faster. From what you told me, I don't think you've installed PHP. However, I get the impression in this thread that you really want ASP?
Make up your mind. Which do you want, or both? After you've done that, install what you want =p

Did you check what's available on 110mb when you signed up? http://www.110mb.com/plans.php clearly shows whats available and ASP is not there.

Please, you need to calm down before the mods get on you, I can GUARANTEE you do NOT want that.

manic you're not a mod anymore?
anyways asp is supposedly enabled, I think it's one of those activation dealie thingies. It was supposed to be here with panel 2.0 along with cgi and ruby and stuff. ASP isn't useless, it has its strengths and it's easy to use especially coming from vb's syntax which is sooo very messy and Idk why they call vb a gateway language because it teaches you bad programming habits.

learning vb will just make learning any proper language a lot harder, and from what I heard asp is pretty much the same
