I don't remember either, since I don't use it anymore. But there're plenty out there.

### EDIT ###
I just checked, it's in the Ubuntu repos: http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/avant-window-navigator
Compiling from sources is not the "Ubuntu way," but you have the option.

I think If you just want easy switch from win to lin, ubuntu series; Ubuntu-gnome,kubuntu-kde,xubuntu-xfce.
Mepis; choose gnome or kde etc on install.
Learn to use and customize for beginners, without all the bloat:
Rpm-Red Hat based:  PclinuxOs; http://pclinuxos.com/ or it's derivatives, (I use tinyMe(can get transgaming) or miniMe) http://tinyme.mypclinuxos.com/wiki/doku.php  .
then there's the small made for usb or cd bootable, dsl web server-on-a-steek!, puppy,slax-killbill..
the list goes on.  Media player, VLC (I use), totem, mPlayer to name a few.
don't forget, when you install/use a distro of your choice give it a week or more unless it's too confusing for you but use their (distro)forums to find quick answers. like installing a server, video card driver, mirror lists, etc...

Some recommend Mplayer as the best media player, but there is Totem, which is lighter and VLC. You can also go for Audacious.

get koffice and don't ever do something stupid like what I just did today. It turns out linux dies when you do a sudo chmod -R 777 / (accidentially of course)
