so.. it`s a bit weird.. because.. i`ll make 50 posts now.. and then forget about the forum.. Smiley i think we all must be active.. not only 50 posts.. i think 3-4 new posts per week or something like that..
Well I think I'll be dropping by here more than I used, aiming for 50 posts has certainly gotten me into the habit of dropping by.

I think you'll get an email back letting you know (is that right?).

The only reason i have done nothing with my mysql is cause i have been waiting for 110 to fix things up. Ever since u guy shave been upgrading to v2.0 i have done nothing. I plan now on hosting something great but i need to know the following things which i can not seem to find. Which are the following: WebServer and the host which in this case is a ip adress of my sever im guessing

I'm afraid I'm a bit concerned that we have 14 pages (so far) of replies from members who are wondering about the details of this restriction, and unless I've missed them, not a lot in the way of responses from 110mb to clarify exactly how this is going to work.

I spent hours setting up shopping cart software on my site and after much gnashing of teeth and pulling of hair I finally managed to get it working. To be told it was all in vain unless I post 50 useful posts (in whose opinion?) or fork out $10 is annoying to say the least. By the way, is it $10? That's what the upgrade page says, but someone said on this topic that it was $3-4. Either way, my finances are stretched to breaking point, whilst I appreciate we get fantastic value for money on 110mb it's an expense I could do without right at the moment.

I am also alarmed at the number of members for whom English is a second language, and who are worried about how this change will affect their sites and how they can keep their databases.

And finally, I seem to have got the email informing me of the change about 4 days after everyone else, so it will be even harder for me to get to 50 posts in time. Is anyone else on Yahoo finding their email seems to be really slow at the moment? I just hope the 110mb bods can get all the databases up again quickly. Whilst my site is not yet fully active, if it were a period of downtime could have a major financial impact.

Anyway, I think I have said all I want to, I hope this will count towards my 50 posts!

Helen.

lol. English is also my second language and yes for both question. Its roughly $10 for the MySQL and that also count as your first post. I cant delete (with reason : spam) post that long.

answered before. Roughly 10 sec for each member*.

*depends on whether andre and his thugs are online and at the same time working on with MySQL activation.

spam post removed.

if andre sent you a reply email saying your MySQL is/was activated. I means that its done and you don't have to worry at 31 July.

thanks, now everything is clear (I think)

if you are on box 4,5,9 or 10: read the first post in this topic and then you have 2 choices:
then wait for the reply saying your MySQL request is received and activated.

if you are on box 11:

want to know on which box you are?

how long will it take?

edited: made it FAQ like. And most of them are true.

Make 50 posts

Just like this....
It will be 5 posts a day....
And after that, when I get that 50 posts, it will be another number, in future, of minimum posts to save my sql

Are you on 4, 5, 9 or 10? If so, then you have to make 50 posts. If you have a new account (you have joined last week or 2 weeks ago), then you are probably on box 11. Then you will need to make 350 posts or pay €10.

I thought click on ads would help, but I guess this hosting is walking on other hosting's path. 50 forum post is not hard, but it's jsut so different from whatever it started with
