I just found out through Sybot S&D, that this wonderfull "SpyHunter" software that everyone reccomends to get rid of IE Anti-Virus, is actually itself MalWare. Be aware, this software is just as bad as IE Anti-Virus.

A lot of those pop-up windows saying you might have a virus and need to get a scanner is virus. Do not get them.

Yes, we know. It's called rouge spyware. It appears to do good, but it's really bad. Just a fast way to make a buck.

Yes it is. I've been reading up on it, and it does more harm then good.

It seems to be legit, but it's crap software according to reviews it's slow, doesn't work all that well, doesn't pick up more obvious spyware. Basically it's a waste. Use hijack this, spybot search and destroy. Hijack this is the best, along with something like Procmon - you can get rid of just about anything.

It's linked to have rouge spyware attached with it. It's another one of those programs like IE Anti-Virus, and WinFix.
