Hi all I have tried to create a basic HTML Website for our non-profit organisation  . The site is in English and I want to convert it to Hindi as the site targets Indian festival . I had never done this before and would like to know a detailed steps to create one. I had searched google and have find ways to do so but as I am just a learner and finds it tough to understand their  . Also google searches states that I would require HINDI font to be embedded to the site pages. So pls guide me step by step, also I was unable to find any free HINDI font that can help me.

I tried using Hindi in flash once, and believe me, thát gave troubles. (in the end I didn't even succeed)
I'm not familiar with embedding font types in webpages, so I'm sure someone else can help you out with that.
But I do have some free Hindi font types (at least they're supposed to be) which I found while trying it in flash:

Use utf-8 encoding for your pages... you dont want to embed fonts...

In the Preview section, select the language Hindi... you will be able to see it...


Also I guess arial unicode  font would be consisting of Hindi in it.. unicode font will be available in windows.. but not sure in other OS.. so you have to careful with it... embeding fonts in pages (if it is possible) ... might slow down pages to load...
