The headset that used to work on my computer no longer does. I have tried updating sound card drivers, but no dice I've also tried a number of things through volume control. The monitors, however, almost clip when I switch from mute to a volume and vise versa...any ideas?

Try the headset on another computer. Great way to see if it's the headset that's broken Wink
