Why can't I upload .mp3 or .wmv files? And is there anyway I can play a song on my website?

It's to prevent people from using 110mb mainly as a file host. If you buy $19+ of one time only fee upgrades then you can use any file extension, but that doesn't mean you can use 110mb as a file host. I recommend you use a
free file host
and embed them in your website. But remember you need the copyright holder's permission to use their music on your website.

Don't tell me you're going to play music in your background... It's so annoying and unprofessional.
But, that's just my opinion.

I agree with Yimmy.
However, if you still want music, why not put it into a flash file?

Yes, that is very unprofessional. Just like hover buttons that makes sounds, it just plain annoys me.

Whether that stops you is your own concern; whether your visitors would want to return after playing annoying Flash effects is theirs. So choose wisely
