I've created a new account and want to install wordpress. Yet, I'm stucked at the installation progress that requires details that I don't know. Do I need to pay to upgrade before I can install wordpress on it?

MySQL is required for WordPress. And MySQL is a paid upgrade.

I was in the same boat, so I use FlatPress instead.

but flatpress has slightly less features, i'd recommend using it temporarily then when you have 350 GOOD posts, you can upgrade to mysql for free
