this is really annoying the crap out of me. when i compose an email and want to insert pictures the damn outlook resizes them to almost index card sizes when originals are over 1024 pixels wide. i have looked online and in options in outlook 2003 and dont see anything in there that makes sense. and i dont want to send the pics as attachments. i want to be able to insert them into the emails and be shown right away when the person opens the email without clicking on attached files.ok since there is no solution for this can anyone reccomend me a outlook compatible email program? by compatible i would like to have it import all my outlook settings like filters and contacts and also sync with my windows ce pda and cell phone.

See if Thunderbird would do the job for you.

ya i just tried thunderbird but it wont import my outlook settings like it says so im going to give up on this for now. i will contact microsoft about the image resizing and see what bs they will tell me.
