A good game. maybe you have experiences about ajax technology. are you introduce with me about things that you refer about ajax technology, e.g. websites about ajax,... I started with w3schools.com . They have good tutorials for total newbies. Ha! I actually made a "game" kind of like this about a year ago on my old host. It was called dotCombat. It used php, but it required fopen to work on URLs, so I haven't been able to get it running on this host yet. Maybe once I acquire fsockopen I'll get it working again.
Mine was a similar idea, except that it assigned RPG statistics (strength, speed, hit points, etc) to the given web pages and then they fought back and forth until one of them was defeated (or, if it took too long, it would just claim that they both collapse in exhaustion).

What kinds of things does the program look at to determine which site wins? Mine generated the RPG stats based on which html tags were used and how big the file was.

www.esiportal.webs.com vs esiportal.110mb.com with results are 77 points vs 34 points. www.esiportal.webs.com won although Alexa rank for www.esiportal.webs.com lower than esiportal.110mb.com. |

www.kythuatxaydung.webs.com vs esiportal.110mb.com with results are 77 points vs 34 points. kythuatxaydung.webs.com won although Alexa rank for kythuatxaydung.webs.com slower than esiportal.110mb.com. So what? www.kythuatxaydung.webs.com is better! I'll try to optimise this tool for more precise results,if you want so much  @fudge, thanks! That motivates myself to continue working on this project. |

Once I get mine up and running again (which is taking longer than expected since I basically have to write a http 1.1 client in php since fopen is disabled for URLs) we're going to have to battle our site battlers! Heheh.

@previous post, alexa ranking may not be accurate but our tools works correctly  . I've just added an improvement to the last tool. Now you can see the image's size in Image Extractor tool. |

I made image extractor use the mootools modal box for previewing images and added details such as size, resolution, type and bits. I think it's better now. New tool is coming |
