It's weird, Ive only seen the news empty one other time and it didn't show the word 'news'. But that was probably on a less updated version of SMF, maybe they changed it, or maybe someone just pressed space by accident.
Anyway, if the restoration is over, they should have 'Restoration is complete' or something, that's what they normally do.

Try doing it upside down, with 3D glasses, through a fish tank, cross eyed.

not sure where the scam is, there is no indication on their website that they can 100% guarantee recovery of any data from a broken hard drive. There is nobody that can promise that. They offer a money back guarantee if no data can be recovered. Also there is nothing but good reviews of the recovery company on eBay.
Don't think it's a good idea to go posting bad things about a company cause of an opinion of someone you have never met before. Not intending to insult the management here at 110mb but we don't know the whole story. Maybe it's just sour grapes cause 110mb ends up with 11,000 ticked off users and they have to blame someone.
If they were scammed they can contact the Florida Attorney General.

Well, I'm pretty sure 110mb was led to believe it worked. They just sent an empty hard drive.
