Swimwire - Bringing Social Networks Togther!

« on: February 26, 2009, 06:40:23 AM »

Greetings all!

Now... you could spend $7 on 110MB's one-click backup.

But as far as I know that only performs an entire website backup - there's no advanced options like specific directory backups that this script can offer you (although you can still easily backup the entire site!  smiley )

I can offer you my service of being able to set up and correctly configure a backup script that can run straight from your account.

With this script you can:
  • Perform a full site backup
  • Perform a partial site backup (specific folders)
  • Save a .TAR.GZ backup in your chosen location on the server
  • It's simple to use (OK, not as simple as a one click backup, but the options you get still are beneficial  cheesy)

This only costs $2. Less than a cup of coffee.

I can currently only accept PayPal payments although I'm looking into other ways if necessary.

The script takes some configuring to match 110's settings, so to install the whole script and set up on your account will take around half an hourish.

The only thing I can see this script doesn't do over 110's backup is MySQL backup, although that is still a fairly simple task using 110DBManager.

Anyway, I'm just looking to make a little cash to fund my site Swimwire, and hopefully offer you something helpful in the process.

If you are interested, please PM me. You may also wish to leave a post reminder on this thread as well - ta.

Many thanks,

~ Jack

Being that you're fairly new here people are skeptical of your skills.

Oookay....  huh

I spose I can understand that. I may be new to your forums and hosting but I've owned and operated websites for 3 years now. I have experience in coding Windows applications, and a couple of years experience on the web in using Content Management Systems.

I am an honest and genuine person, and I'll guarantee that if something isn't as you like it I'll give you back your $2.

I can get these installs done quickly and easily. I can either FTP it and config it online for you, or provide you with full configuration instructions and the necessary, already modified files to set it up yourself.

If one user tries me out and provides a testimonial I would be very happy, and I am providing a money-back guarantee on this!

EDIT: Admins, someone has edited my post, rather irresponsibly. I quote, before modifying:

Meh I suppose so... however this isn't always practical if you have a large site like mine, i.e. a CMS.

This method is a lot faster and uses less of your internet connection to download all the individual files. It creates and stores a .tar.gz online, which you can keep there and/or download to your HD.

Ask anyone trying to sell a service and they'll try and point out the best features of their service.

BTW who hacked my last post?! (See last post)

The bad word filter - it is a bit indiscriminate.  In your case it found the string c i a l i s - which as we all know is a recreational I'm gay  grin - and replaced it with the string you see

Wow. I love the honesty. Very nice of you to at least say please.

It's simple, all you need to do is contact the FBI Cyber Division and tell them you want to set up a "phishing site" and they will show you how.

You can add $_SERVER['SCRIPT_URL'] to determind path included files of any domain to backup data. I guess that you used this for your script. huh
