some fnctions are disabled liek sendmail and mysql are usable by php if you enable the upgrades. This is done to create some revenue for 110mb and stop abuse to deliver the ebst free hosting for you..
Some other functions (like system, exec and stuff) are disabled to stop server hijacking and stuff like that. there is also a safe mode off patch, that's better for you, and in this case also better for the admin.
so actually NO restrictions for everyday scripts.
