There is a problem with Box15. I can ping it, but can't connect to it. I guess that the problem is not from my side since I can connect to other boxes.

Please check it.

I see....because I was working on it, and suddenly couldn't connect. That explains it.
Thanks.

Same with me! Site is not working, and I can't connect to my "Control panel". According to http://d3xt3r.net/stats110/scan.php, everything is down! huh

There is also alternative for d3xt3r.net/stats110 :
great service provided by Lesley - 110MB Server Status Report.

And there are also other provided by aldo - NSC Networks - 110MB Status
And provided by Mop (Gb) - XMOP.ORG 110MB Status

@ admins

Having in mind all problems with hardware on box13, box14 and now on box15 - isn't this a good idea to think about changing the company where you rent servers in US?... Or at least do NOT rent any other server in that datacenter as all three have some hardware problems?... Apparently they are using some cheap hardware as freshly new server have already problems in two weeks after turning it on.
Just my few words.

Is there any way we can be notified when the box is back up and running?

It's been 8ish hours already....I was fiddling around with the size of my content background border size and now can't know if it will even work (total n00b).

Unfortunately, I don't think there is. You just have to keep coming back to this forum and there is no notifications on the homepage (that would put off new users). I still can't believe that us Box15s haven't been transferred to another server.

You can't be transferred to another server because all the other servers are full.
But if you have an account on another box, you can just login to that one and do whatever on that account while they fix Box15.

I am a loyal member for 110mb from the time it was created years ago, but I am not really satisfied about what is happening now with Box15. It has been a very long time and the problem is still there.

Again, I will point out that 110mb specified this:

"110MB is powered by Quad Intel Xeon Servers operating in a cluster-based environment. In plain english: lots of servers connected together rather then 1 server which hosts all the members as is true for 99% of free hosts.

Meaning that if one 110MB server goes down temporarily, your site will be unaffected. This guarantees maximum data protection, stability and uptime of your site."

Box15 has went down temporarily yet my site has been affected. If there are lots of host servers connected then surely our sites should be transferred or this is 110mb telling a lie?
The statement may be misleading, but what they really mean is that, should a harddrive break, your data is not lost. i doesn't really apply to uptime..
also, thi sis a known problem with box 15, as all the new people are registered on there and it'll have to handle a lot of traffic.
please wait a while until registration closes, then it'll be better.

When exactly does registration close? I'd really appreciate if anyone knows. In the meantime, I'll just keep checking some 110mb server status reports.

Thanks.
