I have just signed up for 110mb and I just have one question that I am not quite sure about. I realize promoting is fine and there is a topic from an Admin that says having a link in a Myspace page to the created site on 110mb is fine, however, the "standards" to doing this is what I have a question about.

Is it ok to have a separate Myspace account, (not a personal one) that is meant to promote this site (110mb created site) only and add people to try and promote? I'm questioning this because this seems like a method of spam, but I have no intention on that. If I leave the page to public, (which means people don't have to add to see the contents of the Myspace page) and say something along the lines of:

"Friend and I have created a story we'd like to share, if you are interested go to this link, there's no fraud or paying involved, just sharing a story"

is that ok or is that spamming? I would like to try and add many people to spread the word, but I would never, never add them more than 1 time, (because THAT I know would definitely be spamming). Just a quick, "check me out if you're interested."

My intentions for using 110mb is not to actually sell anything. A friend and I have created a story that we would like to have others read about. Yes, it would be nice if some kind of animation or comic company sees it and decides to take it further, (lol) but there is no "pay" or "buy."

I just want others to see the site and Myspace is the only way I can think of, (I haven't fully read the topic from the Admin, just scanned and noticed the Myspace/Facebook thing).

Thanks to any and all help and, of course, if what I described is spamming, I WILL NOT DO IT.

Happy Holidays, btw.....and sorry for the essay.  grin

110mb can't control what you do on other sites. You can link to your 110mb site from any site you want. I don't see a problem with that.
