I'd really love to use an SQLite database since I'm poor and/or cheap and don't wanna buy support for MySQL databases, but the .sqlite filetype is not allowed for upload.  Is there any particular reason for this?  If not, is there a different way that I'm supposed to create a database in my directory?

The filetype is .db. More here. (If you're having a hard time reading through it all, press Ctrl + F (if you use Windows) or Cmd + F (if you have a Mac) and type 'sqlite' to scroll to the right part of the text. wink)

Hope that helps. smiley

SQLite database can be any file with any extension, as long as the same path, name, extension will be specified in the config files of your script. So just rename file and upload. .db is the most obvious extension, but it can be anything.

Hm.  I thought it was a little weird when this SQLite database browser program I got made a .sqlite file.  I've been reading a PHP tutorial, and it also said that the extension for SQLite databases was .db.  Thanks, though, I'll have to see where this can take me.

SQLite can use any file extension, but because 110mb only allows certain extension, you should use .db  smiley
