Blah, I'm now 3 hours(seriously) trying to connect to my FTP account. I either get the "Control connection closed." error or the too many connections thingi
Whats wrong? When will you fix it?

(There's nothing wrong with my FTP program)

Check you setting in you FTP utility!

Ok! not to many free right now but 1/2 hour ago only 30 slots used!

No problem works fine!

Have you tried using another ftp client, just to check that your client ain't the problem.

One problem I had often was that I had to close my FTP Tool completely and restarted the program!
Try that one sometime it locks up! That happened to me often! Close the FTP program and restart!

Maller- I did, I've used cuteftp and then FileZilla.
Mario- Did that thousands of times

Now I get this:
Response:   421 50 users (the maximum) are already logged in, sorry
Error:   Disconnected from server
Error:   Unable to connect!

Quite easy really, when you login from 110mb login page and then taken to your control panel, look at your current URL.

Just wondering, not that there is a problem, but mine (current URL)from the control panel says http://911mb.com/user_index.php  Is that the indicator we're supposed to be looking at to tell which box we're on? If so, what does 911 mean? I'm about to get an airliner crashing into me and George Bush lie about it? (kidding there..) What is the part that tells us which box we're on?
Thanks

Same here, I'm on Box2 and all the time there are 50 users (limit 50) using FTP. By the way, I'm using FireFTP for Mozilla Firefox - which is great by the way.

Hi ppl,

I'm having the same problem too.

I can't connect by ftp ("421 50 users (the maximum) are already logged in, sorry"). I have been trying since yesterday to move my new site to 110mb, but atm I haven't been able to.

I've tried from the file manager uploading a zip file (30 MB) to uncompress it later, but the connection crashes in the middle of the upload.

I guess I'll keep trying, but if any change I am to do in the page in the future is going to cost me too much time maybe I should reconsider using 110mb at all... ATM I'm giving a little credit, because of the changes I know admins are making to the servers.

I guess we'll just have to wait a month or so so that the migration to the new servers finishes... Sad

Regards.

I guess you dont release theres a 10mb file size upload limit.

Ah, I didn't know about the size limit, thanks!

Anyway, I'll keep trying to connect by ftp, as it would be far easier. If in some days I can't upload my page, I might try using smaller zip files...

Regards!
