i dont have ads on mine either because i dont use msn HAHA. 2 years ago it pissed me off after someone sent me a mp3 and then it blocked it. that pissed me off beyond belief. i waited like 10 min for the song and then it says its unsafe or whatever. that really pissed me off. there was nothing wrong with the file when i finally got it through email. no other program ever blocked mp3s and told me they are unsafe.
Well you could always use amsn, pidgin or something Microsoft's client isn't necessarily the only one out there or even the best

i read somewhere that skype is a p2p app. whenever there is a problem with direct connections from one user to another it uses other users local bandwith to help the file send. but not much only max of 3 k/s just to make it send otherwise it would not send anything.

Is everyone complaining about the 14.0.8... version? I'm using that one for several months now in combination with MSN Plus!, got used to it just like any other change, though most of the time I still use aMSN instead.. If you're talking about another version, well the 14.0.8... is still working for me then
