I can not believe what I'm reading, the programmer tells the user to use another program and not the one on there website. To try another brower...why should we struggle to access programs that you have on your site...

Does anybody in 110MB even know what is going on?Huh?

YOUR SITE BUILDER ADMIN DOES NOT WORK!!! Fix it, if you can't then replace it with something else, you expect people to pay for upgrades...so we expect you to fix your site.

OK Guys ...

I have tried everything suggested ... I even submitted a Ticket which was then wiped without answer.

I still cannot get in ... and I cannot get 110mb to assist.

Anymore suggestions are welcome

The 110mb administrators are not the programmers of the site builder, I'm pretty sure it is supplied by a third party. No administrators have even replied to this topic.

Regardless, the upgrades have nothing to do with the site builder, you don't get special benefits for those upgrades, expect for the specific things they supply (As well as a few extra benefits). I have bought a bunch of upgrades, I never expect better service than anyone else.

The site builder is not the main selling (Selling... it's free) point of 110mb. If you want something else supplied, use one of the one click installers, they are supplied for you. Plenty (Almost everyone) of people were here before the site builder was even made.

My last, but most important, point is this is a free host. You haven't paid for the site builder.

I haven't been able to login either...

I'm trying to login to the control panel...
What I get is the "incorrect password or username" page.

I believe I was on box14... my site is still there, I just can't login.
Tried to resubmit account details, won't except.
Tried email request new password, no email.

 huh

This is a different issue. Box 14 MySQL and login is down at the moment (Read the news at the top of the forum). It will be fixed as soon as possible.

I have had the same issue. I can log into the Control Panel. I click on the "Site Builder Admin Panel" link and I click "login" without changing the login details.

It wont login.

I have tried Firefox/Explorer and different computers. I have another username which works fine. This site name is for a friend of group who asked me to put up a site.

Try all of the following. The last one can't fail.

1. Leave the default password, just click step 2.
2. Disable password saving.
3. Try another browser.
4. Use a free SQLite CMS instead.

Hi Guys

I thank everyone for their comments and suggestions, but I need to make it clear that I have to use the editor - I do not know how to use anything else.

Someone pointed out that I had access to the site for free and implied that I was not, perhaps, entitled to the attention required to fix the problem like someone who pays.   I had intentions to purchase add-ons as I went, but if I cannot get simple assistance (or at least some notification of the problem ... and I was post 28 August 2008) why would I ever purchase?

Right now I just want to login and get on with completing the website.   It is getting to the stage that I have to start up a new site elsewhere and pay them for the access that I require.   I really didnt want the extra work.

So ... once again ... I would appreciate any assistance that anyone can give in order to get information about Box 15, the problems with login (that other people seem to be having too) and what the time frame for a solution will be.

Cheers

We help people help themselves here. If yo want it fixed you'll have to wait for an update, which could be any time from tomorrow (Don't bet on it) to next year (Or never). Either way, you will most likely have to reinstall the site builder again then anyway. So just try reinstalling now.

How desperate can someone be to use the site builder that they'd wait over half a month? You say you don't know how to do anything else, but you could have learnt how to code PHP/MySQL in that amount of time (Actually in less time), let alone use an alternative content management system.

Myles

What other alternatives are there?   I would like to try an alternative.

If I re-register, do I lose the current site and have to rebuild?

I take your point on time, but I am doing  PhD and have a 7 week old daughter and an ill mother ... as much as I would like to try to learn other things, I just dont have the time.   I really just want to get into the site and add to what I have done.   The site is to assist people ... it is an important site ...

I really just want to get back to it and get it going again

I value your input, but I am finding it frustrating that I cant get in

Okay, install an free, SQLite based, CMS (Content Management System). Here's a list of CMSs: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_content_management_systems Choose any free one on that list which supports SQLite databases, then:

1. Select it's name.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
3. Click on the external link which is the official site of the CMS.
4. Follow the instructions on the site with downloading and installing it.

If you have any problems installing the CMS ask us for help.

Oh MY GOD

It has taken close to five weeks for someone to come through for me...

That was such a damned easy solution.

I thank you very much ... you are a legend
