Hi!
I went today to check some tables and I found a new database that doesn't appear on my 110mbPanel, it's called test and has some polish.  I have no idea how it got there.  But since it's not on my panel I cannot drop it.

Any ideas?
Thanks a lot!

Ignore it? Test is a default database that is set up when mysql is installed; it should have been been disabled, or removed, but for whatever reason they haven't done that.

But the thing is that I've been using my 110dbmanager since 2007 and it wasn't there back then... and I was working on it yesterday and the day before and it wasn't there either. It appeared today all the sudden, and if it was a test one... why in polish? it has two tables too.

The last time I saw this (on box4), the test database was available to all the users on the particular box and editable by all of them. So mebbe some polish speaker has created tables in it not realising that others can see them.

As to why it appeared - I have no idea. As I said, just ignore it.

PS I can also see it on box4 - with two tables ksiazki and ksiazki2

If it really concerns you, start a new topic with a title like [Admin] Mysql test database and see if sysadmins remove access to it.

Hmmm... indeed interesting.

ksiazki, ksiazki2 = books, books2
The columns are named: id, school, class, subject (school subject), author, title, price, condition etc.
Just like someone would want to has the database of used school books for sale.

I wonder if it's some bug or Andre is learning my language and testing some Polish scripts. cheesy

Heh, if they are relying on that as their production database, they will be in for a nasty surprise if/when the database is hidden/disabled as it should be  evil
