Firefox = Not Standards Compliant Windows is not bloated, users make it that way because of how much software is available. How can you bloat an OS that has little for it? (Linux)

Yeah, lol. I want to see it on TV though... That could not have been the whole thing, they didn't mention Windows at all... Lol... Though, I was like OOOO! Bill Gates! Lol... Which was their point, Bill Gates is well, like a celebrity, just nerdier and more money

I think it would be better if it were not presented as a commercial. Then again, it might be a commercial for the full thing

Oh! Oh! Oh! I think I get it! Listen closely to the end: http://www.crunchgear.com/2008/09/04/microsoft-commercial-with-bill-gates-jerry-seinfeld/They talk about deliciousness, and a moist something or other... They want you to think Windows Vista is Delicious... Lol. Watch, you'll see people start to eat the Vista Discs and documents... lmao

I really can't say I understood it either, the ironic part was that Seinfeld was on TV, and the first commercial I saw was the new Windows one with Jerry Seinfeld, lol

I got it for sure this time. Microsoft doesn't want to exactly advertise Vista, they want to advertise what their software is capable of... In this advertisement, think of it as Food for Thought, but food for your PC

I think it is made to confuse you and make you think of Microsoft and/or Windows. Read this! Should explain everything. I didn't read it myself yet. Well... that explains nothing...

I just actually a week ago realized this is the awaited answer to the Mac commercials.

Yeah apparently they got tired of macs making pcs look bad, and took the idea of those mac/pc ads and tried to use it to their advantage. They even got a dude who looks like 'pc' in the mac commercial rofl. I also read somewhere, what's the point of branding pc in people's mind? It doesn't have a whole lot to do with windows. PCs are now running linux off the shelves, IBM/HP are starting to do this a lot more so ingraining pc in people's minds may not help them in the long run but w/e.

I'd say Vista vs. XP ads were a better marketing strategy. Apple wants to get XP users to buy Macs, Microsoft wants XP users to buy Vista. They might never make Mac fans move to a PC - after all, the iMacs have even Windows got installed!
