(WANTED): favicon added to my simple machines forum.

  i really need help, i want to add a favourite icon to my simple machines 1.1.5 forum but each time i try i end up screwing the coding up for "index.php" file, and then the website will not work.

First time i tried i ended uo re-installing my website, i really need help from someone who knows how to do this. thanks PM me.

uplaod you icon here then download when it's done
then find favicon.ico in the SMF folders (should be the main one) then replace it with yours.

if you want me to do this you need to pm me the image to want .ico and access to your control panel (change password to a dummie so i can use it then change ti back when im dead)

Also It work's Properly in Opera 9.5 .

For future reference:
- a file "favicon.ico" uploaded in to the root folder will be default favicon for all pages in all modern browsers without adding any code to the html source.

yea but it didn't show in his forum sub-directory. i had to add it to the folder than add a couple of lines of code to the header.php. PunBB does come with a favicon so the code had to be added.
