After you have logged in to 110mb.com and click on website builder, wait for the encrypted information to be entered automatically.  Do not change it.  Your password should look like this     ******************
It will be quite long due to the encrypting process.  You ONLY input the log in info. when you are logging into 110mb.com   HTH

Hello! I'm having the same problem. I'm not having any success trying to get the long password to show up correctly in the password box of the "Welcome to Website Builder!" page.

If I understand correctly, I should click on the "Step 2 Site Builder Admin Panel" after logging on to my 110MB Panel. I've done this many times (and also replaced the web site template).

Any suggestions on what to try next?

Thanks!

Many people have this problem. I myself had it.

Log in to Control Panel.
Click on Site Builder Link.
Don't change anything just click on Step 2->...................

EDIT: You may notice that everything is filled. Your domain name and all are right.
But password would be *********************** .
Don't change it just click on Step 2->....
         It is encrypted.

THIS IS STUPID! everyone is havin this issue, i know people that barely know how to run a hosting site and servers and won't mess up as bad as this, i have tons of my hard work go down the tubes and now i can't even use the web builder to try to bring my site back up. are the tech people even takin the time to even notice our constant problems? this whole this is annoying me bad, i know this isn't a dedicated server/host but if it's supposedly the most endorsed free hosting site, shouldn't it atleast take care of the sites it's hosting? i hope this gets solved soon.

I've followed the instructions step by step many times with no success.

I notice that the longer password flashes momentarily in the Password box when clicking on the Login button but then the shorter one is what sticks in the box with the Password (or login) is incorrect! error message.

It seems to be stuck in some kind of loop. You click on the Login button, you see the longer password flash in the Password box but does not stick and finally no joy!

I started from scratch twice. Didn't change anything Login: and Password: wise. Still no joy!

 sad

Yup. Clicked the admin link, it showed the LONG password, I hit "Login" and...."Password (or login) are incorrect!" in bright RED letters pops up and urges me to re-enter (though the login and long password are still automatically entered).

 No dice, expert guys!
 What else ya got.

Excellent question...  grin

It does not work with Safari on the Macintosh but does work with Firefox on the Macintosh. I also have an old pc for situations like this... And it works too using Firefox.

So Safari browsers beware!  You may want to install Firefox (you can run both programs).

Progress!

Follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Control Panel.
2. In the "SITE BUILDER: Start Here!" Tab click on the link: "Start Site Builder Now!"
3. In the new window Click on the button: "Next->Step 2"

By following these steps you should be able to reach Step 2.
Do not do anything except these. Don't change anything like FTP Password, FTP Username or Domain Name.

Strange... Firefox on the Macintosh works but Safari does not....
It would be useful to know what is causing the problem. By the way, Firefox 3.0.1 on Windows XP SP2 works for me.

To all - please search the forum before posting here! The website builder login issue has been discussed many times. See below:

http://www.110mb.com/forum/sitebuilder-problem-t33814.0.html
http://www.110mb.com/forum/cant-login-to-site-builder-doesnt-provide-login-info-t33841.0.html

I notice that the longer password flashes momentarily in the Password box when clicking on the Login button but then the shorter one is what sticks in the box with the Password (or login) is incorrect! error message.

The shroter password is from your browser. If your browser has the option to save password then dsiable it. Otherwise browser will try to be helpful and fill the un-encrypted password for you and lead to an error.
