I'm on Box 14 and before the trouble with MySQL my forum was loading nice and quickly. Now since it has come back, each new page takes 30-60 seconds to load. Once a page starts to download it's quick but the wait is maddening. Anyone got any ideas please ? I am using MySQL. Thanks.

My Adult forum is here - http://fakebritbabes-forum.co.uk

Does it load any quicker for you ?

First page load ~8 seconds.
2nd, 3rd, 4th etc.  ~4-6 seconds.

Page load test exactly at the time of this post.

Thanks very much Piotr. They are slower times to what I had before the troubles but are lightning quick when compared to what I have now. Perhaps my ISP is playing games with me. Rapidshare was blocked on Monday so who knows ? Now I have some  background knowledge I will ask on my forum what it's like for them ( if I can, sometimes it won't load at all ). Please look out for future posts. BTW I have paid for some of the features with 110mb so it would be appreciated if admin could get involved if needed.

cheers Jack.

Nothing has changed. If it is beyond your concentration or capabilities then why not be honest ? I wait for your answer.. grin

First off... Paying for upgrades gets you no special service here. Everyone is treated equally.

Second: If you're on box 14 and would like to see the time it takes to parse a php script, then you can go to either http://d3xt3r.net/stats110/speed.php or http://vampyrencoteriescion.110mb.com/bench.php

Both will give the same.

Apologies for my last post ! It was a bad day for me and there are no excuses for writing something idiotic and rude like that.

I have since tried my site with IE and Opera and found it is loading quickly. For some reason Firefox 3.0.3 is slow and sometimes gives me the message that the browser has sent a bad request. So it has nothing to do with 110MB.

Once again I'm very sorry.
