I'm needing a free file host that never erase the files. With the size limit up to 100mb. What do you recommend me?
thanx

You are asking for a lot. If the host never deletes its 100MB files, it would run out of storage very quickly. Unless you mean 100MB total, in which case you can find plenty.

Never ever say "never". Internet exists for what? 20 years? who knows what will happen in another 20.
But maybe your definition of "never erases" means (gasp!) 2 years?? I followed certain hosts that store 100 mb files for 1 year or more...

andre, do you have any idea of speed on uploadingit.com? like if i hosted videos on there would they buffer quickly (compared to other filehosts) eggdisk is now a POS in my mind. because their reliability is down the drain.

Really don't know. Only host small files, and audios, which don't take big amounts. But looking at them, they're doing very well and would bet you'd get top speeds.

Hi skide, I would suggest you to go for divshare - http://www.divshare.comThey never delete your files and have uploading limit of 200mb. You can host any type of files except porn and warez. And the best part is that you can even place your logo and link in the website if you are registered member (of course registration is free of cost) and the visitors after downloading can return to your website. The file sharing service is comparitively new but has provided features which none other would even dare to provide. And you can arrange all files of a similar category in a folder. Moreover, there is no captcha i.e image verification while downloading files which your visitors would like. Hope you would find it useful. I surely found it to be the best one. Regards, Zaman

,ediamax is horrible. Sure, 25GB space, but 1GB montly bandwidth. I really dont see the point in that, with a 10mb file size limit. Other that that stores files, 110mb uses the files. But thats the free account. Which account do you use?

I need free file hosting that will let me store .flv video files (50mb file size limit) and be able to stream them to a remote site.

I just use the free account. I use it to store songs and videos for my site (the site is my sister's band's site). Sure, at sometimes is can load very slowly, but I've never seen any problems other than that. And the 1gb bandwidth, I don't really think that many people visit my site, it's been up for almost a year now and the counter has only reached the 300 mark, so I'm not worried.

divshare.com is probably the best, cause they are not worried about how much drive memory u store in, only the filesize and (compared to www.uploadingit.com who delete accounts after 90 days inactivity) divshare don't! Currently I keep some computer games on divshare privately and use several GB. They don't even care whether u publish it or keep it private so... For instance Civilization IV is one DVD + CD-Key nummer.txt - with Magic Disk I create an .ISO and with Alzip I then split it into an achive of files 150MB each, which I upload. Since they are kept private there is nothing illegal to report. When ever I want the game installed again, I download it all, recreate the .ISO (+ cd-key.txt) which I install by mounting it virtually. Furthermore I download the upgrade patch and another NoCD crack, like all net-cafés do. I have looked for some code to download all in 1 click, but instead I have made a download page with all links listed. Perhaps there is a trick to refer directly to the file on divshare.com, but the most directly I have found is a launch.php, and sometimes it will load the divshare page first. So instead I have refered the standard links to open in a new window. As I'm writting now I am uploading 4 files 160MB each to divshare.com. U can't do that by multiple uploads, since it count that as one too large file. U have to open seperate windows and login on each. With too much activity seperately or just for the fun it happens they stop.
