My sites been up for about 5-6 days now, and Ive had a hit counter on it for 4. This image shows the hits that I have been getting in the last four days (the counter is placed on every page in the site - page loads is the total for the whole website not just one page)

I was just wondering what the hits for your websites looked like... how many unique visitors do you get to your website every day? How many page loads?

Also, does that look like an 'okay' result for a site which has been online less that a week? Im not indexed with any search engines yet...

Cheers! cheesy

Zero, but it's still in progress (Unreleased). However, I do know that that is a good amount.

Although I have no idea why I have had so many page loads today - todays page loads are 411% of yesterdays. Perhaps google was crawling my site.

Well just because you build a site no matter how good it is we are just a speck of data on one of millions of servers world wide don't count  on search engines the real seach engines charge big money to be one of the ones on top.

I get about 900 page veiws a day but I belong to a bunch of forums with my address in my sig.

But if you go to these forums and start asking people to come to yoursite you will be a spammer

From this forum? Wink You post alot yestarday and you got link in your signature.
Check the referrers in your stats.
(bots are excluded from those stats)

What is good that you have 32 visitors and 370 page views - which mean each visitor view 12 your pages (average). That's mean they was interested enough to browse your website. If you'll ever get 32 visitors and 32 page views - this will be bad, as they most probably viewing only main page and nothing else.

On a bad day, I get ~3000 per hour.

On a good day, I get considerably fewer.           grin

Unfortunately, 99.9% are users.

Volunteers..
