Either this month or next month, I think. I remember hearing something about permanent ads in November, but I can't confirm.

And true what you stated regarding investors, reputation, etc. It shouldn't affect you one bit. Biz is biz. No emotional connections to it. Just win-win decisions based on logic and intuition. Else I assure you, 110mb would've disappeared long ago. EG: Paid MySQL pissed off many in 2007. But hey, notice we're still here. wink
And future still holds same: Ads going on permanently by Nov. But space/bandwidth increasing back to 5/300gb.

I had a solution which Google made on YouTube. That is YouTube account owner will place Google Adsense code on their videos. Then, they will earn money and Google get 40% earns from clicks on these videos. Why 110mb can't create ads network for their own. I also have a solution: 110mb re-buy Adbrite or any ads network and then earn money like as Google did.

Well they might have issues to work out, but Andre did say they will be here and he's the one in charge and he has been consistent in saying they will be here, so don't go getting too hopeful.... |

Andre says the ads are postponed to at least 2010. All users will have at least 1.5 months warning before ads come (if they come).

ever wonder what happened to the forum about 2 weeks ago maybe their planning to spam the poop out of the sides with ads... plus a new box approx every 6 months to a year and about 1.6M in ads plus upgrades paid for... im guessing total revenue for 110 is about 2M to 3M and with 17 boxes soon to be 18... i really dont know how they are having financial problems... its prob more greed then financial... hence why its being pushed off... |
