Hey all, I have a very strange problem that I hope someone can shed some light on.

I am making a website for my friends who run a carpentry business: http://dolancarpentry.110mb.com

It uses Koschtit Image Gallery to display the pictures: http://koschtit.tabere.net/en/

Everything works fine when I use dolancarpentry.110mb.com, but...

I registered the domain www.dolancarpentryinc.net with LVCS.net, and set up all the proper domain name stuff. (Changed the nameservers, set it up on this end, etc... I didn't use nameserver 3 or 4, because I didn't think it was necessary...)

When I go to the domain name, everything shows up *except* for the image gallery. It still works fine when I use the subdomain.

Any ideas?! Thanks in advance!

It's the way 110mb's file system works.  If you load the page via the 110mb subdomain your home directory is:
/110mb.com/d/o/l/a/n/c/a/r/dolancarpentry/htdocs/
but if you load the page via your own domain its:
/net/d/o/l/a/n/c/a/r/dolancarpentry/htdocs/

I'd recommend forcing the domain by using the code found here, http://www.110mb.com/forum/scripts-php-script-htaccess-removing-www-or-adding-to-site-piotr-grd-t31345.0.html

That way you can change the file pointers to the /net/ version and everything will work out fine.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I haven't even tried it yet, but I assume that you know what you're talking about. lol.

In any case my gratitude can not be understated.  grin

I just realized that a lot of that code is over my head- I'm not exactly sure how to customize it or use it to the effect that you just spoke of. Can you clarify more?

Thanks!

Never mind, I figured out my problem. :\

It had nothing to do with the code on that other page, but that code did help me do another thing I was trying to do!

Thanks!  afro
